Now that the new year is in full swing, and COVID seems to be exiting the stage, we are excited to announce some changes coming to the Bigger Better Hair Professional lineup.  

Our mission in 2022 is to continue growing the brand and always deliver on our promise to exceed your client’s expectations while keeping the professional our highest priority with a product you can easily profit on, and are proud to offer in your salon.  Please take time to read through this e-mail as we have several important things for you and your business to know. 

New Colors Arriving!

We can’t stress how much thought we put into our BBHairPro stylists and salons who carry our products on a day by day basis.  With that being said, we have some colors that we feel need to go, and some colors that needed to be added to our collection. 

Our hope is to always provide a collection of extensions that never includes shades that fade unexpectedly, and to always deliver colors in line with color trends as they evolve. 

As we sell through existing inventory and a shade becomes unavailable, we will notify you with inserts inside your orders so you know when to remove a swatch from your color ring(s).  Below are the colors we will discontinue this year as we sell through existing stock:

18A/22	This color faded to a very unwanted copper tone. Perfect replacement: 18A/60
Root 10A 18A/22	This color always faded a very copper tone.
10A/18A	Too ashy and hard to match.  Replacement: 11A/60
4A/18A	Intended to match an ashy client, this color sadly evolved too warm for our liking.  Replacement: Root 3 3/10A
4/33	Rarely matchable to a client.  Colors 4 and 33 still exist individually, so this can be made by mixing those two colors.

 

We have 4 new shades that are expected to be in stock by April, and will launch as soon as our warehouse receives them.  As we receive these new shades we will include complimentary swatches and a sample in your future orders.  We want you to always have an accurate color ring, and be able to see samples in person prior to ordering.  Below we will outline the new colors with a brief description so you can know what is coming your way.

Root 3 3/10A	Similar to shade Root 3 3/10, this is it's cooler toned "sister" shade.  The new color: Root 3 3/10A features a deep rooted base that seamlessly melts into a dark brown lowlight and ashy cool highlight
11A/60	This shade features 25% lowlight, 75% highlight, giving you a subtle lowlight, and more blonde shade rather than our traditional 50%/50% blends.
Root 10A 11A/60	Much like the above shade, this is a rooted shade for a seamless blend.
1001	This is our lightest, brightest white shade of blonde.

 

Like we mentioned above, we will send you color ring swatches and a sample of each color as we receive these shades in our warehouse over the next 4-6 weeks.  We will also have the shades photographed and videos for our website as we do for all other shades as they become available to our team.

 

Pricing Changes & Updates

Please take note of the following changes, so you can adjust your internal pricing within your systems prior to 3/31 as we will roll out our new pricing on 4/1/2022. 

As we all know, the supply chain and inflation issues have affected just about every aspect of our lives in and out of the salon.  As a business we are not immune to these issues.  We have done everything possible to delay any price increases to get a better grip on whether this is a temporary situation, however that is not the case.  Given the reality that cost increases will be longer lasting than we can withstand at our existing pricing structure, the time has come for us to make some revisions. 

We have carefully considered our options as our focus is and will always be to prioritize your business first, and we believe we have come up with the best possible revisions that not only adjust pricing to the new normal, but keep our focus on your business' profits.  

Below we have listed the existing pricing structure for each tier of wholesale customers and compare it to the new so you can clearly see the changes being implemented 4/1/2022:

Our online website has already increased the suggested retail price point for hair, so you can at any time increase your pricing.  

Please update your menu and systems as soon as possible so you can capitalize on the new pricing without taking a hit on the updated wholesale price points that will begin on 4/1/2022.  

With our new pricing structure, we have a single price point for all shades, including our premium blondes.  This means you no longer need to keep up with different pricing for premium shades and should make things easier on your end. 

As always, we strongly suggest all BBHairPro stylists and salons consider our Intro Packages to maximize your savings for each pack that you order moving forward.  We incentivize those who invest in our brand with more savings per pack so you can capture more profits, save on ongoing shipping costs, as well as having inventory in your location to capture sales in the moment.

 22” Length in 2022!

You asked for longer lengths, and we are delivering!  In an effort to give each of our stylists and salons a talking point to address the price increase, we will no longer be offering 20inch hair, and all future hair orders will be 22 inches in length offered by our brand. 

The price for 22 inch hair has been thoughtfully considered and is built into our new price structure as listed above.  In other words: as we begin shipping 22” hair, there will not be another price increase. 

As we sell through our existing inventory of 20 inch hair, we will automatically begin shipping 22” hair moving forward without the need to request it.  You will notice this length increase arrive in your orders sooner for some shades and longer for others as our inventory turns at different rates depending on each individual shade’s sale cycle.

Virtual Education & Certification

We have been working hard on digitizing our content and putting it on our website for you to have access to education, tips, tricks, and business growth tools.  This year you will see much more content to help support your business, train newer stylists, or hopefully help even the most seasoned extensionists with continued education.  Once we go live, we will reach out to let you know how to access videos and education within the BBHairPro website portal. 

Also coming in 2022 is a major boost to our one on one education and certification programs.  We have begun offering expanded education opportunities as your needs grow or your business expands:

Virtual 1-1 meetings

Book a 1 hour Zoom meeting with a BBHairPro educator to hone in on something you might need growth on, or any questions answered.  These virtual meetings are best suited to help you introduce BBHairPro into your salon, discuss business tips and tricks to streamline your business, or focus on some issues you are having and want to elevate your skillset on. 

Personalized Certification

If you are seeking certification and prefer an in person one on one with one of our educators, this option is designed for you.  How it works: Come to our HQ in Dallas, TX and spend a day with one of our educators where you will be certified on a single method of our extensions, including a hands on installation and blending haircut.

Salon Certifications

Looking to train multiple stylists and certify your salon? This option is designed for one or more of our educators to come to your salon and certify multiple stylists on a single method of extensions, including a hands on installation and blending haircut for the attendees.
